I am little unhappy with them and I don't know how much they are to be blamed for this.
Lately i have been receiving too many spam mails from 30gigs. Ironically i can't block the domain because few of my clients are using their email services. I have beeped 30Gigs a couple of time, but not sure if spammer finds other accounts to spam from or they aren't listening. Either way, my junk folder now is loaded more than my inbox. Yeah, i divert all 30gig mails to junk now. Since its only two clients using 30Gig, I have requested them to reconsider some other mail provider, even offered one on my networks completely free. ![]() I guess 30GB is what pulls in traffic, otherwise 30GB for one account is just too much. It only misleads. If one person gets 30Gb space, then a HDD of 80Gb would have only 2 accounts. If they had 100 customers, then they'd end up using 50 disks. Is that possible? Sure, they are overselling and relying on fact that despite google offering 2Gb, not many have been able to even use 95%, so 30Gb would be just difficult for people to exhaust. What do you say? I don't think a Web2.0 company should be misleading, because thats not a user-centric approach (user given wrong impressions!). Do share your views on this. |
