Quomon
http://www.quomon.com We've just launched quomon.com a website dedicated to knowledge sharing and collaboration between IT and Graphic Design professionals. It's web 2.0 inspired (uses tagging and a bit of AJAX) and has a point system like Yahoo Answers and Experts Exchange, which motivates quick answers and gives experts acknowledgement in their areas of expertice. |

A very well built system. Certainly we've had many of similar Web 1.0 sites, starting with closed long time ago AskMe.com, PointAsk.com, but I haven't seen a knowledge sharing (questions-answers) web site in Web 2.0 version yet!
I especially like how tagging is implemented. Quomon can go a long way. Why limit yourself to only one niche with such a great platform in place and wait until someone else passes by? If you expand the area of expertise, I would consider joining myself! I was once #1-3 ranked expert on AskMe.com in few categories. Best,

Thanks Artashes for your kind words.
I'm sorry I didn't get back to you before. You are right about expanding the area of expertise, that is in our plans, but we wanted to launch in a niche that we knew ourselves to test out the system and try and create a critical user base from which we could expand. We have limited ressources at this moment, so we have to measure every step we take carefully. I will let you know when we expand. Which are the areas that you are knowledgeable in, btw? Thanks again for the positive comments, David |

I hope this does not take a lot of time however. Usually products built in such a solid way might attract "clones". Quote:
I remember I was holding good ranking positions on topics such as journalism, media, relationships, Internet, etc.
