Default Software or CMS for developing Web 2.0 site?

Hi,

I am currently looking into developing a Community Site based on Web 2.0 technology - I want the usual stuff like blogs, forums, the ability for a user to comment on blogs, upload photos, videos all the usual stuff that makes a great Community Site.

My question is - is there a single software package or CMS that I can purchase that would allow me to easily develop such a site? Any advice on the best way to go about developing a site like this would be appreciated.

Thanks

As far as I know, there are a number of clone-scripts that provide the environment for a social networking site with the features you specify alike MySpace.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Thanks Artashes,

That is a great help are you aware of any such solutions that would easily integrate into a .NET site. I guess the main things I really want to integrate is Blogs and Forums at this stage. Don't really have a need for all the other social networking tools like friends, profiles etc. at this stage.

exitmusic,

I am unaware of any scripts matching your specifications. Perhaps someone else reading this does, so hopefully they'll reply.

Best,
