The Web 2.0 Conference 2006 is taking place on November 7-9, 2006 in San Francisco. The conference attendance is invitation-based only. Is anyone going to attend?
I wish I could this time (I will see if my schedule allows for that), but most likely I will try to attend the one next year. Best,

So, anyone here going for the conference?
Anyone got invitations? Do let us know how it goes and what all points were discussed. It shall be interesting to know what the priorities are now, that Web2.0 concept is in place. |

I will definitely try to attend next year, cdrw, as my schedule did not allow me to visit this year.
In the meantime, the conference has started and here is a good coverage page for all to see: http://news.com.com/2009-7345_3-6133...d.newssd.right Rafe Needleman writes: "Only thirteen companies were selected to participate in the "Launch Pad" sessions on Tuesday. Chosen from more than 200 applicants, these are supposed to be the most promising of the current crop of Web 2.0 start-ups. I'm not sure they are hands-down the best that the Web has to offer, but they are all very interesting. The start-ups are: 3B, Adify, In the Chair, Instructables, oDesk, Omnidrive, Pidgin Technologies, Sharpcast, Sphere, Stikkit, TimeBridge, Turn and Venyo." Find the liniks to these startups here: http://news.com.com/2061-12572_3-6133206.html?tag=nl
