Default Raising funds: from Angels to VCs

To start off the discussion, many of us involved in Internet business will at some point of time face a position when we need higher forces to continue on our ways. The force in question is financing.

How do you approach the situation? Share what your process of funding a Web 2.0 company is. Do you invest personally, see angel investors (relatives/friends) or going straight for venture capital?

Best,
