We all see them, we may have used them at some point in our lives. But what keeps them alive?

Yes, its free hosts i talk about. When nothing comes for free in this world, why would someone pocket funds to let others use it free.

Obviously they'll say its charity or goodwill from their heart, but that sounds too stereotype a response to be convincing.

What do you think, this free host industry thrives on and whats the motive behind being free host?

Fact that most script kiddies abuse these free hosts, what makes them still run it for free?

I think the advertising will keep them alive. The use google adsense or similar type of advertising. so they can get paid.
It is already rule of thumb in business. if you offer free info or free product, you should back up with advertising.
